FAQ's

  • What is the tournament format?

We will follow the 2023 USA Roundnet (USAR) Certified tournament formatting, as follows:

We will aim to have pools of 5-6 teams with single games to 21 with a cap at 25.  Depending on number of teams we may need to have pools of 7-8 teams and we will have single games to 15 with a cap at 21.  Pool play will determine seeding for bracket play - everyone will qualify for a spot in the elimination brackets.

Bracket Play will also follow the 2023 USAR formatting: We will be using single elimination for all brackets and consolation brackets for 5th, 9th, 17th, and 33rd placings as needed.  As such, each team will be guaranteed 2 matches in bracket play.

Be aware that a tournament format may be different than outlined above and may include division splits for bracket play, or shortened matches due to limited sunlight.  We want to retain this flexibility to ensure we can adapt to the best solution for each tournament.

  • How do I register?

Each tournament will have an online registration you will need to use to sign up ahead of time.  Click on the specific tournament to get the registration details and deadlines.

NO DAY OF TOURNAMENT SIGN UPS WILL BE ALLOWED. We’re sorry, but it ruins the pools/brackets for the rest of the teams as they are put together the night before.  Registration links will be closed the day prior.

  • Which division should I register for?

Each tournament will have various divisions based on the size of the tournament.  Please be familiar with the 2023 USAR Player and Division Ratings that you can find at the link below.  Please sign up for the division you and your teammate most accurately belong in to ensure teams are most competitive with each other.

  • Can I volunteer for free registration?

If you can’t get enough spike, but are running low on funds, then volunteer in exchange for free registration!  We always need a few extra hands to help set up and clean up.  Volunteer opportunities are first come first serve, so if you are interested please email Taylor@utahroundnet.com right away and see how you can help.

  • Military and First Responder Discounts

Please remember that we offer 25% off for all service men & women at our events! This includes all branches of the US Military and our local first responders.  Please email Taylor@utahroundnet.com with a picture of your ID to get a personalized coupon code to use when signing up.

  • What if I need a refund?

We always want you to feel safe signing up for an event. So whether a teammate gets sick, a family emergency comes up, whatever it is; we offer full refunds up until registration closes.  Email taylor@utahroundnet.com to request your refund.
