If you are still honing your skills, but can play fairly consistently, this is the division for you. This division will play by all of the official rules and is intended for people who want competition but are still developing their game.
Think you're the best? Prove it. This division will include the top teams as well as newer players who want to test their skills against great competition. we will be tracking rankings throughout the season and the top 5 players will earn a cash sponsorship to go to nationals.
Teams with 1 male-1 female may participate in any division, this division is specific for co-ed teams and we will be tracking team points for a final cash sponsorship at the end of the season.
Women’s teams register for free! we want to encourage more female participation. if there are at least 6 women’s teams they will have their own division, if there are less than 6 they will combine with the co-ed division.
We will follow the 2019 Spikeball Roundnet Association tournament formatting, as follows:
We will aim to have pools of 5-6 teams with single games to 21 with a cap at 25. Depending on number of teams we may need to have pools of 7-8 teams and we will have single games to 15 with a cap at 21. Pool play will determine seeding for bracket play - everyone will qualify for a spot in the brackets.
Bracket Play will also follow the 2019 SRA format: We will be using single elimination for all brackets and playing out for specific final placings. If you lose in the first or second round you’ll automatically drop into a feed-in consolation bracket. As such, every team will be guaranteed at least two bracket play matches.
