Provo Summer Spikeball Tournament
Rock Canyon Park - June 15th, 2019 @ 9:00am
we decided to throw in an extra provo tournament this season! and it should allow for some mixing it up on the podium as many of the top teams in utah will be headed to cali for a national tournament. come take advantage and let’s crown a new champion!
Oh yeah - how about we experiment with a 3-on-3 tournament? Makes for more rallies and this is the perfect tournament to test it out!
we will have normal 2-on-2 games as well for those roundnet traditionalists so if 3-on-3 isn’t your style, come play normal roundnet!
The tournament will run just like any other - morning will consist of pool play to determine seeding and the elimination tournament will start in the afternoon. Check out more information below!
Early Registration (ends 6/1): $20/team
Normal Registration: $30/team
Women’s teams register free! (well a $3 online processing fee) but you still need to register so we can get you scheduled =) We will add a women’s division if there are at least 5 teams!
Registration closes 6/14 @ 10:00 pm
Rock Canyon Park

Elimination Rounds: 12:00 pm until your team is eliminated
grab 2 other friends and let’s test out a different version of the game! We will be playing on spikeball XL nets (it’s about a foot wider) and leads to a lot of fun rallies. never played this version before? Don’t worry, you won’t be alone so come be one of the first!
If you are still honing your skills, but can play fairly consistently, this is the division for you. This division will play by all of the official rules and is intended for people who want competition but are still developing their game.
Think you're the best? Prove it. This division will include the top teams as well as newer players who want to test their skills against great competition.
We will follow the 2019 Spikeball Roundnet Association tournament formatting, as follows:
We will aim to have pools of 5-6 teams with single games to 21 with a cap at 25. Depending on number of teams we may need to have pools of 7-8 teams and we will have single games to 15 with a cap at 21. Pool play will determine seeding for bracket play - everyone will qualify for a spot in the brackets.
Bracket Play will also follow the 2019 SRA format: We will be using single elimination for all brackets and playing out for specific final placings. If you lose in the first or second round you’ll automatically drop into a feed-in consolation bracket. As such, every team will be guaranteed at least two bracket play matches.
